Non-Profit Web Design

for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties

Project Description

Big Brothers Big Sisters of St Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties , a non-profit organization in Eastern Florida, was looking for a contemporary, easy-to-use non-profit web design that would cater to the three arms of their organization: the bigs (current volunteers), the littles (families and children participating in the program), and the donors. Although Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America is a large national non-profit organization, each local program manages their own funding and infrastructure. They were looking for both the web-design and one-on-one teaching that would make managing their own website possible.

Web design features include:

  • modern, responsive, easy-to navigate website
  • a refreshed logo with a more modern font and layout
  • new color scheme creatively using the national organization’s approved options
  • wordpress installation and training
  • easy to manage calendar, photo gallery, and blog
  • integration with non-profit softwear, Give Effect

Working with Kim was a wonderful process! While we had a basic direction we wanted to go, Kim helped take our vision to the next level. Her calm, teaching spirit made it easy for us to learn the basics of site design and maintenance so we didn’t feel unprepared after the launch to keep our site active and vibrant. As a non-profit, our budgets can be limited but Kim was competitively priced and went above and beyond to be sure that we had every feature we could think of and many that we never imagined! I highly recommend Kim and KLorimier Design!
